Good and Bad Vaccine States

There are good and bad vaccine states, those that get it and those that don’t have a clue what they are doing. In the process, people are dying at alarming rates. There are many reasons… ah, excuses, that these governors have for not getting the COVID-19 vaccines into the arms of their citizens.

Below are the 10 states doing the best — so far — on per capita vaccinations, based on CDC data accessed Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Could it be as simple as the governors with the worst numbers have no plan or are just scared of being criticized for vaccinating the wrong groups of people. Granted, First Responders should be first, but then the pecking order gets murky. My feeling is that the elderly are next. Especially those in nursing or assisted care facilities. The next group would be those with underlying conditions.

There are a group of people that believe that the minorities should before those with underlying conditions. The thought process is that they are more prone to getting COVID-19. Are they? They are studies that suggest that people that eat a balanced diet and take vitamins have a better chance of survival. Well, there are two more things. Wearing a mask and social distancing. We have been hearing this for almost ten months now. Wear a mask and keep away from people. Yes I know it’s hard to do but… it is better than the alternative.
